Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
On
www.gossip.guide/
, everything was working fine. Some errors occurred so we restored backup to some old date. Now, landing image on front page is not visible anymore. All settings are Ok. Please let me know the issue and how we can resolve this issue.
Thank you for contacting us.
This is caused by your customization. It seems that file: ROOT/components/com_community/controllers/controller.php was customized and it controll $header load.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Thank you for the response. I tried to identify the difference between original controller.php and modified one using
www.diffchecker.com/
. The only difference between both file is: line no 96 is commented to avoid ajax login pop up . It looks like issue is not in controller.php
This is true $header is not called or something wrong with this variable which I am not able to find out. Could you please check into this.
I assign developer to investigate this further.
He'll contact you tomorrow.
