"Class only available on Joomla 1.6" after clicking "Edit Profile"

Hello there,
I have Jomsocial 4.4.4 (recentyly upgraded from an earlier version but can´t remember which one) on joomla 3.8. I have "edited profile" from frontend a few times (before upgrading) with no problems, but now I obtain blank page and the message "Class only available on Joomla 1.6".
