Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
The Demographics, Average Age, Distans from me and maybe more is not working.
Thank you for contacting us.
Yes, you took a wrong approach. Using multiple profile is fine but you used the same field type e.g birthdate and gender 2 times for separated profiles. You should rather do with those fields as you did for fields from group Allmän Info.
That could be reason that demographic doesn't work.
As for radius search: the only location data are country, region and city... I'm not sure if that is enough to use radius search. So I assign developer to also take a look.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Okej it´s wrong as I guessed but please help me understand how I can get it correct now and without making my community go bananas ;)
We have Men, Women and Couples as members and they al have to have some personal space for age, weight, length personal interests and so on.
Thats why we have a group of fields for Han and for Hon.
Allmän info is more common info that are the same for them all like adress, city country and so on.
If you look at backend in Custom Profile Fields you can se how it´s done.
Now I need to know how I can get it right.
Please send me detailed info and preferably many screenshots ;)
The best way to do this is to create (or use already created one) ONE field for Gender and birth. Then assign it to all profiles.

You used profile field groups to create some kind of profile field listing. But you should rather use view in Multiple profiles.
Original list of all profile fields should be considered just as a list of ALL fields.
but in your case there is a problem as you have profile for pair (husband and wife) so you need two Birthdate fields. That complicates a lot... and it seems that there is no solution for this as you need duplicate those fields at least once.
So this will be perfect for sites like your... but I need to ask if this type of connection will be used in nearest future as your issue is unsolvable without it.
