Error - Changing Profile Type Losing Registration Data of Original User

Hello,

I have multiple user types and use Payplans.

I am not sure why, but now when I:

Log into the Front-end as a user
Edit Profile ->
Change Profile Type ->
Choose a Different Profile Type ->
Switch Back ->
Custom Registration Information is all Blank

How do I fix this so my information isn't lost?
Which files do I need to look at?

Please:

1. Edit your first post.
2. Click switch below main text field: prntscr.com/fk3hdg
3. Provide your site details: backend URL, admin credentials and FTP: prntscr.com/fk3hwz
4. Let us know that you provided credentials by posting in the same thread.

Also, browse to Backend -> System -> Global configuration -> Error reporting -> set it to Maximum
Then repeat your steps. This time on blank page should appear error. Copy it here.

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hello,

Here is my information. FYI, my developer said that changing the error log to on won't have any effect on this.
Here is the problem stated in another way so it is fully understood. Thanks for your help!





When a user signs up as Personal User (Mutiprofile type) and saves data to his custom fields, and later decides to switch to another profile type (Professional), then when he switches back to his first profile type (Personal in this case) all his data is lost and reset and he has to fill up the form again.

Answer is quite simple.
Take a look how your profile fields are assigned - you have separated fields for one profile and for another.
So once you fill some field and switch to another - all assigned fields are deleted and replaced by new profile field. So when you switch back, they come empty.
So the best option will be to have shared fields for profiles... at least those you can share.
