Hello. I use this globalsettings in joomla on life and test-sites.
Session Settings
Session Lifetime : 15
Session Handler: Database
"System - Remember Me" is enabled
Steps:
1) login to frontend at Test-site with almost clear Joomla and JS
2) close window / browser / computer
3) visit test-site after week.
Result: You are still logied in (thats great).
The same thing I can see at the non-jomsocial life site and "jomsocial.com".
But problem appear at my life site for few year :( It makes users to logout/login during the day (hours) few times.
I tried to investigate it very long time, but with no succes. It starts few years ago and was temporary fixed simply by installing new JS version. But then (after year) problem apper again.
I tried to do this thing some times ago:
1) install clear Joomla
2) install clear JS
3) remove JS data from DB
4) import JS data from Life site to DB
Result: problem, appear agaiin.
Also I tried to make copy of life site and replace by FTP Joomla and JS files by original. And no success.
May it be caused by DB? Site was started in 2009/2010 on Joomla 1.5 with old JS version.
Do you have any idea?
