JomSocial Active Socialize Expired

I use multiprofiles and some fields are hidden and must stay hidden like e-mail and phone. When I register/edit a profile its not clear these fields are hidden from the public and there is even a privacy button.

Hi, Mark.

Thank you for contacting us.
I'm not sure whet you request :)
Buttons are self explanatory: prntscr.com/fj9wza
The same icons are used across whole site... well recognizable in Internet as well.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Thank you.
So the hidden but required fields in the backend are 'me only' in the frontend? Can an user change the privacy in the frontend or do they stay hidden/me only always?
I hope it's clear.

Mark

Hi, Mark.

No, setting "visible" at backend is not the same as "only for me".
"Visible" means if it's displayed or not and has nothing to do with privacy settings.
So if you set it as "visible" NOT, then user after registration won't be able to change anything in it along with privacy.
That field will be visible only in backend.

While privacy allows user to set who will be able to see "visible" field.
