Order Activity Stream in date order

We have re-posted some old posts and manually changed the created date in the database.
But because they are added recently, they of course appear at the top :/
How/where can we make the changes needed that in the Activity Stream these old posts are ordered by the day created, so they appear further down the wall?

Thank you for contacting us.
Activities are not sorted by date but rather by ID.
Try to change their ID in database.... but this may be risky as it may break cross relations with other tables.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Is it possible to get around this.. In which file could changes be made if I get a programmer to solve it?

I'm afraid that this won't be easy as you'll need to hack core files.

Core hacks are not recommended nor supported as they may not working with future JomSocial releases and/or cause issues that won't be not supported. Users with core files hack often refuse to upgrade their installation to keep those hacks and they are stuck with outdated and unsupported versions. Also, core hack will be overwritten during upgrade.
