ISSUE SUMMARY:
Is there a way to send eMail notification to ALL registered members when a message is posted in the stream? This refers to ALL members (group members or not). On this site every message posted is intended for all registered members and some messages are urgent and should not wait for them to login to read.

Thank you for contacting us.
You may use email digest feature in JomSocial.
But... you should reconsider it as sending messages that are not related in any way with users will be a spam.
Imagine that you receive emails about activity from group that you can't even see...
But it's you to decide ;)
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Thanks. Spam will not be a problem. This will work if I understand "Inactivity Period (days)" correctly.
I set it at 1 day. Does it mean that a user will be considered inactive if he/she has not logged in during the past 24 hours?
If so, it solves my problem.
Yes, I confirm that you understood it correctly :)
