Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
It's been a while since I've been on here asking for help so hopefully this issue can be fixed quickly. :)
A community member sent out a message to 135 members 2 months ago and today, one of the recipients replied to the message. The reply was sent to each of the 135 members and when another member replied to that one, it got sent again to the 135 members, meanwhile I am getting personal messages from members wondering why they are getting so many messages.
I can't see a way to remove myself from this message chain and it seems there is no way to designate whether or not the reply is a singular reply (reply to original sender) or a reply-all. It's causing issues because nobody can remove themselves and in the end, the only way to stop them from getting all these emails is to leave the community.
Please help with a solution to this as it can become a big issue very fast (not just for out community either)
To break down the exact chain:
Member A sends out a personal message to 135 of his community friends. Member B (who is one of the 135 friends of Member A) replies to the message and all 135 members then get another message and so on.
How can the 135 friends in the message remove themselves from getting anybody else's replies and how can we make it so any further replies from any of the 135 friends are only seen by the original poster and NOT the rest of the members in the message? So if Member B replies to the message, only Member A will get the reply?
What can I do in the mean time to prevent these 135 members in this thread from getting any more replies? Or the other 2500+ members that could potentially experience this same thing?
