ISSUE SUMMARY:

I'm getting inconsistent profile and members URL's depending on which member and menu chosen.

Using the menu bar (Joomla toolbar is disabled) in most instances the URL profile works.

Example When clicking the Profile Menu I get the following URL www.celtinebeauty.com/profile
However when I use the Scocialize Toolbar I get the follwing URL www.celtinebeauty.com/component/community/profile?Itemid=1162

The above URL's with "component" within them are also generated for Member's Name (Profile) links as well. While they behave inconsistently the bigger issue is that I have two templates installed, the profile URL's with "component" within them switches from the Socialize template to my default template.

Note. This issue is also related to the Edit profile, change avatar, change details etc etc

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. Login www.celtinebeauty.com/community and click on the Profile icon in the Scoalize toolbar
2. Click on any member's Name.. some work as expected some don't (weired)
3. Click on Profile in menu bar. This Link will work as expected.
4. Click on the following "members link" www.celtinebeauty.com/my-network/people-in-your-industry some of the profiles work as expected some generate the "component" URL link

Hi Geoff,

This issue caused by your conflict menuid 1162, actually I changed the menu, but not effected to your frontend, maybe caused by cache system, during test this issue I suggest you disabled cache system for awhile

thank you!

Thanks,

But the issue has not been resolved? The Cache has been disabled for a while. I have cleared server, Joomla and browser cache without out any luck.

I note occasionally I'm seeing the Default template (Not Socialize) using a different style (CB) Clean option as well

I'm "guessed" this is a template issue. I have uninstalled the Socialize template and the URL links are now created and working correctly without the "component" part of the URL.

Could you have a look at this issue as soon as possible as we are trying to launch the site shortly.

Many thanks

I have reinstalled the Socialise template and altered another Menu. This has resolved the problem!
