Hiding Module and Menu items for certain profile types

JomSocial Expired

Our site has 2 different profile types, 1 for staff/teachers and the other for the parents. Depending on who is logged into the site I'd like to be able to hide a module and a menu item. For example if a parent is logged onto the site they will only have access to their document links or if a staff member logs on to the site they'll only see the links to their docs.

Is there a way I can do this? I tried to find some information on the site but I wasn't able to find much.

Thanks

Hi Brian,

I am sorry we dont have this feature, this is not possible to be implemented on current Jomsocial core system.

I think you can play with joomla ACL for this. but I am sorry we dont support for helping this matter.

thank you!
