Privacy set to "Friends" but still defaulting to "Public"

ISSUE SUMMARY: User has set privacy for all items to "Friends" but when they go to post a status update, it still defaults to "Public" and they have to manually change it to "Friends" each time.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Go to Profile -> Preferences to double-check privacy settings are all on "Friends".
2 Go back to JomSocial home page.
3 Post a status update.

RESULT Status is Public.
EXPECTED RESULT Status is Friends.
