I like to enable video uploads for my members. I am not Shure if I have done everything right.
I have installed FFMPEG like instructed here:
trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/CompilationGuide/Centos
I restarted webserver and looked in Joomla Backend System Info if ffmpeg is installed. I also watched carefully JomSocial Video Documentation. I finally included path to video folder and switched everything to ON in JomSocial Video Section.

It seems like it´s not working the way I did it.
If you like to test video uploads feel free to upload any video.
Hi, Peter.
When I fire cron job manually I get:
i.imgur.com/kgvocDz.png
So uploaded video can't be converted.
1. Make sure that you installed latest version of FFMPEG library correctly
2. Make sure that you provided correct paths in JS video configuration
Also remember to set a cron job:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Setting_Up_Cron_Job
Hi Michal,
I have made a screenshot of my cronjobs settings:

is this correct?
Hi, Peter.
Cron job settings are fine.
Please, contact your hosting support and ask what version of FFMPEG is installed on your server.
Hi Michal,
since I run a root server wich is not managed I had to install FFMPEG by myself. In fact there must be also FLVTool2 installed wich I did.
I do not see FLVTool2 in my screenshot wich is taken from FTP SSH Screen. I did install everything very carefully via SSH Connection.

The path should be something like: /ffmpeg_sources
So far I can´t see any foult I made.
Hi, Peter.
What version of FFMPEG did you installed?
I hope it was the latest one.
FLVTool2 is an addition. FFMPEG is all that you need.
I'm sorry to say that but we don't support hosting or server related issues.
It may be that your installation failed or was just wrong.
But this is out of our field of expertise.
OK Michal
I understand. I have done also three screenshots wich proofs I have installed the latest version. I think path is also ride.
I found out that mp4 files are uploaded but not converted.
Perhaps Michal is this something I should post in JomSocial Cumunitey. Perhaps someone does have some experience with Linux CentOS.
But thanks anyway Michal

HI, Peter.
Your printscreens shows only file structure.
They don't say anything about installed version.
Please, check what version is installed.
Try this in putty command line: ffmpeg -version
Hi Michal,
I have tried to post my ffmpeg issue on JomSocial Community. Sinsa asked me for all screenshots I have posted. I also included another screenshot wich shows ffmpeg version on my server.
I have made several backups from my site. Since I run a root server I have the chance to set up CentOs any time. If you like me to I can sent you full server access.

Hi Peter
Please modify your post and include the SSH access with the user that can execute commands with sudo privileges.
Thanks
