Greetings Pro's,
I hope I have a quick and easy one for you with this next question. Because my site is a sports related social media site, we have professional athletes that are now starting to inquire about joining, which is exactly what we want. I would like to add a small image after the name of "Certified Members" similar to this Twitter Image, but with a different image after the text part of their name. If you don't mind, would you please tell me how I would do this? Please try and explain step by step what I need to do as I will need to do this many times and I would like to save these instructions so I can do it myself when needed.

Thanks,

David Martin

hi david,

Where do you want to put it? on profile page? you can modify this file components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/profile/focus.php, find this code :

<h2><?php echo $user->getDisplayName(); ?></h2>

you can add the addtional image after that code, and of course it should be added the condition manually, because we dont have certified system for now

i hope it will help.

Dimas,
Yes, I would like to add this to a members profile page. I don't want every member to have it. Just the ones that I select to have it. I will have no problem finding the file,
components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/profile/focus.php
But after I find that file and the line of code you supplied me, <h2><?php echo $user->getDisplayName(); ?></h2>, I don't know if I understand what you mean by add the image at the end of the above code.

Bye this I mean, I understand that I can't just past an image into the line of code. I am assuming I need to designate a path where this image is stored and add that directory at the end of that line. If you don't mind, could you give me an example of that the end resulting code might look like if I added the image to a directory in my root folder? I hope you don't mind, but I don't know html code. All I have done here, I could not have done without all you pro's from JomSocial. LOL.

Thanks,

David

Try this :

<h2><?php echo $user->getDisplayName(); ?>
<?php if($user->id=='ID1' || $user->id=='ID2' || $user->id=='ID3') :
<img src="http://yourimage_location.png">
<?php endif ?> </h2>

Dimas,
Thank you again. I do have one question if you don't mind. When I add this code, <h2><?php echo $user->getDisplayName(); ?> am I to replace "getDisplayName" with the members name that appears on the URL line? And if so, what part of the URL address do I need to include?
this is our first NHL Hockey player members URL: " madd-talent.com/en/home-eng/1125-zach-boychuk/profile " what part of this do I paste into the code?

Thanks Dimas
