Users report login not possible.

Some user complain they can not login,

My first guess is, Embed.ly, Akismet I switched off now. I also witched spam boot check plug in to off.
I watched users fill in usernames with blank space between words. They keep telling me it always worked.

What could be the reason user can not login after month of successful login.
