ISSUE SUMMARY: I'm getting spammers that register and appear on the back end under members folder without receiving any administrative notification. How are they registering? For normal new members I get an email for each new member but not the spammers... how are they getting in??? How can I stop them??? How can they be showing up in the members folder without submitting a registration form.

not sure from where they did. seem from joomla default sign-up form.

It appears to have worked however now the activation links are not going through to some email clients example gmail?

Hi,

yes, still works. all sending emails using joomla function. please make sure your the settings at joomla global configuration.
and have a look at spam folder.

if still got an issue. please open new topic regading it.
