ISSUE SUMMARY:
I am trying to create a list describing what each membership does on my site, then have a button to sign up for each profile. For example: Sign up as a member! Sign up as a business! Sign up as a nonprofit!
How do I link to the sign up form for each profile individually? This way they don't have to choose a profile during the sign up process; it's done with linking to the profile form instead.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Create a multiprofile
2 Try to link a button or text to that particular profile.

sorry, jomsocial not able to do that. please use general sign up button, because new user still need to selecting profile type at step 2 in registration steps.
