Hi, I need to assign a user group to a jomsocial profile on registration.
I read about an extension called user mapper or something like that, but i am pretty sure that an extension like jomsocial must have this functionality. It is really common to pretend that a user profile has access restrictions to some parts of the site, those restrictions are configured with Joomla's native ACL. I dont want to do a core hack on the registration.php file to achieve this.

It is possible?

jomsocial not able to do that, you need to using 3rd party extension for that.
