Question... How can i make sure that my status-updates only shows to friends? And... can you set the privacy up-front? What will happen if a friend likes your photo that is set to show to only friends.... Then a post will appear that that friend liked my photo... however... will her friends then see that post also? How will that work?

every status update can have they own privacy.
all status privacy = firends, that status only showing to people on your friends list ONLY. including like, comment, etc.

Oke... just to be 100% clear... (i have a woman's sensual website, so this is pretty important)

If my friend comments on a non-friend photo or likes it... i can not see that comment or like.
I only can see her like or comment on a mutal friend?

And where can i find the option: all status privacy = friends
Since i am only seeing it for profile, friends, photos and videos.
