How to remove block user icon?

Hi how do I remove the joms-dropdown > Block (icon) when visiting other people's profile? I dont want to have that option available nor visible

I tried removing this by doing "display:none", but that also removed my own dropdown icon on my profile page.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Christian.

Copy this file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/profile/focus.php

to:

ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community/layouts/profile (if you don't have those folders - feel free to create them)

Then edit file in line 322 and remove this:

                <?php } ?>

From now on "Block user" option will be gone :)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

It works but the icon is still appearing on the cover photo prntscr.com/adiesp

How can I remove that on someones elses profile without removing it on my own profile?
