Error in editing profile

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Hello,
I have created several new profile fields. The fields are drop down selections (select) from 6 options.
During registration process I fill-in these fields. However result is not recorded into database and therefore is not shown on front end neighter in back end in profiles edit.
Can you give me solution for this, please?

Btw. I have added two fields to the DB table community_fileds, hopefully it is not the reason.

Hi,

please do not put any new record directly to DB. you can put new fields from jomsocial backend > profiles > customize profile
please try it in that why.
