ISSUE SUMMARY:
When using advanced search to search for member profiles, the screen comes up broken. Something is interfering with the code that should generate the view and instead of a nice form, I get a form with several lines of code.
I have added a screen shot of the "advanced search"
STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. Do a search for members
2. Click the "Advanced search"
3. Screen comes up broken

Hi Peter,
this issue also caused by "System - RokBooster", I just disabled that plugin and works fine now.
thank you!
Hi
Well, it is of course good that we found out what is causing this, but it is not really a solution. I am not sure I fully understand what JomSocial have issues with several of Rockettheme's plug-in's. RokBox and now also RokBooster. The problem is of course that I actually use these plug-in's on my site and I have never had issues with them before - and I am building around 20 sites a year.
So I know that we will now enter the "blame the others". This is the main issue, when using components from different vendors, they will all point to the other and say, it is not our fault, but the others. So how can we fix this, so that it is actually possible to run with JomSocial and RokBooster at the same time ?
Hi Peter,
The same question for me, I also thought rok developer already solved this issue, since this issue has been happening since years ago. Anyway, as your rok client, can you also report this issue to them please? I am not sure how they code, but actually jomsocial use the common and standard javascript code.
thank you
Got the answer to this :-)
Several people have seen RokBooster break parts of JomSocial - and other components for that matter. The trick is to configure RokBooster the rigth way - not just enable it - Like I did :-)
It is possible to set it up to exclude certain css files or pages - I tried to exclude the "advancedsearch", enable RokBooster and voila - it works :-)
