Support,

I uploaded a video set at "Only Me" for privacy setting, then "liked" my own video, and it posted the "like" notification (along with the video) onto the primary stream for everyone to see. When you "like" a video, it is not respecting the privacy setting. I have yet to test it with photos or posts too...but it may affect them as well.

I will appreciate your continued support and assistance.

Thank you and Blessings,
Steven Dunn

Hi Steven,

here is the patch, open this file components/com_community/controllers/system.php, add this code :

$elementTable = $element=='videos'?'video':$element;
before this code :
$table = JTable::getInstance($elementTable, 'CTable');

thank you!

Dimas,

Thank you for the reply.

I have checked the file in question and the line of code "$elementTable = $element=='videos'?'video':$element;" does not exist. Please double check...

Dimas,

That line of code does not exist either...

"$table = JTable::getInstance($elementTable, 'CTable');"

Please double check.
