Registration Code VS. Registration Link - How to Change

It's confusing to the person trying to create an account on the Jomsocial website.

When a person creates an account, there are two things in the content that is confusing. One says "Activation Link" and the other says "Activation Code". There is no code that is sent to the member.





Then on the front page, it says "Resend Activation Code", and again, there is no code that is being sent.





Where do I go to change this in both areas to say "Activation Link", since this is what it is actually doing. This should also be changed in your next version of JomSocial.

Hi Jim,

To change it you should modify this file language/en-GB/en-GB.com_community.ini, find this code :

COM_COMMUNITY_ACTIVATION_ENTER_EMAIL="Please enter your registered e-mail address here so that we can resend you the activation link."

and change it :)

well, you can re-send the activation code for the active members. Please you try it with the non-active members, it should work
