ISSUE SUMMARY:
I tested the new user registration process on my installation. After registration a authorization e-mailis supposed to be sent to new users e-mail. I tried two different e-mails to register accounts but neither time was a authorization e-mail was sent.Is there plugin to control this?

2 Fill in registration form
3 Check for e-mail confirmation

Hi, Ozie.

1. Make sure that phpmailer is enabled on your server
2. Make sure that email you provided in Joomla! mail settings is correct
3. Make sure that this email is allowed to send emails from different domain.

I guess that 3 is the issue here. Yahoo doesn't allow to use their emails to send from other domains.
For best results please use SMTP and email in your domain.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
