Allow admin to change user data without the need to fill mandatory fields

ISSUE SUMMARY:
As an administrative task, I need to be able to change certain fields in the user data (user profile, for example, or address).
The system doesn't allow me to save the user data if the mandatory fields are not complete.
I'm logged in as a Super User.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 User register, but don't complete his profile
2 Admin log in to the back end and try to change his user profile
RESULT
Admin can't change his profile because there are mandatory fields in the profile, but it is not the admin task to fill the profile, just change the profile.
EXPECTED RESULT
Admin should be able to change any data of the user profile without regard to mandatory fields being left empty
BROWSER
Any

Alternatively, you should implement a batch tool to move users to any profile, so we can manage our users easily.

Hi, Jonathan.

I'm sorry, this can't be done. Mandatory fields are for everyone, SU or not.
If you want to change only some values but not fill mandatory fields, the only option is to edit them directly in database.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal.

How about that option to have a batch action avaliable?
Just like any other joomla screen (users, menus, articles, etc), the admin should be allowed to change specific parameters, especially user profile. I will not be editing the user data per se, just moving the user to the correct profile.

Thank you.

Hi, Jonathan.

Batch processing may be a god idea.
