JomSocial Active AdAgency Expired iSEO Expired Socialize Expired

ISSUE SUMMARY: After you send a file in chat, the sidebar module Available Files that shows all files in this conversation, continues to link to the file locally instead of at S3...even after it has been transferred. However, the link in the conversation thread itself works fine after the transfer.

If you would look into this issue, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and Blessings,
Steven Dunn

Hi, Steven.

I assign developer to this thread.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Albertus,

Thank you for the reply.

Now every time I attempt to upload a .zip file it reports that the file type is not supported. Also, the original issue is still occurring and has not been resolved.

Please advise.

Steven Dunn

Hi,

about ZIP upload issue. here the fix:
1. edit /components/com_community/controllers/files.php
2. at line 66 change the code from

$_file = $jinput->files->get('file');
to
$_file = $jinput->files->get('file', null, 'raw');
