I have used this code to check "isfriend"

$my = CFactory::getUser();
$isFriend = $my->isFriendWith($userid);

but I am looking for the above mentioned issue.

this is the code for checking the friendship :

$isFriend = CFriendsHelper::isConnected($user->id, $my->id) && $user->id != $my->id;
$isWaitingApproval = CFriendsHelper::isWaitingApproval($my->id, $user->id);
$isWaitingResponse = CFriendsHelper::isWaitingApproval($user->id, $my->id);
