ISSUE SUMMARY: How can I remove deleted posts from the activity stream? (apart from deleting direct from database table - i assume would be community_activities table) for example spam posts or test posts? Currently if posts are unpublished or deleted then they remain in the activity stream which will not be good if the site goes live..

Is there a way to do this automatically?

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 enter a post
2 delete the post
3 view the activity stream
4
5
RESULT - deleted posts remain in activity stream
EXPECTED RESULT - deleted posts should not appear in activity stream

Hi, James.

You have 3 options to delete activity stream posts:

1. Browse to frontend as SU and click little arrow in upper right corner of a post: i.imgur.com/VxVC00o.png

2. Browse to Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Monitor -> Activities. Check activities you want to delete and click "Delete selected"... or Delete them all: i.imgur.com/7KepgBi.png

3. Log in to PHPmyAdmin, browse to _community_activities table and remove entries you want.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
