Add a new status update option

ISSUE SUMMARY: I want to add a new status update option. Please give me some idea with file name. Which file should i edit and how to add functionality.

I just want to add "People Benifited" next to event and on click user should enter number of people benifited and description just like when we click on event.

Screenshot attached! Please help.
