Submenu on mobile devices not accessible.

ISSUE SUMMARY:
open jomsocial submenus on iphone are not working on mi site

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 open any jomsocial menu item and the go to any submenu, is no possible to open
2 example, go to main menu on iphone then click on profile item then click on edit profile or any other item under profile and is not possible to open, the issue disappear as soon as user click on any other submenu item out of jomsocial.

3 Example, click on Inicio(home) then open any submenu item under inicio(home) and work fine, after that jomsocial menu works. to see the issue back login with other browser or logout and login again, and try with out open any non related jomsocial submenu item, note, on my friends( amigos) Invitar amigos(invite friends) this alwasy work because invite is coming from another component.

RESULT after user open any non related jomsocial menu item all neu item work fine.
EXPECTED RESULT expect work fine as on desktop
BROWSER aple safari iphone 4 , and 5s chrome iphone 4, and 5s

I'm sorry but I can't replicate your issue due to lack of access rights or misconfiguration.
When I try to browse to my profile when I'm logged in I get:

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,
I have some issues on my site, one of them is that admin have some restriction on the front end, strange but try to login as registered user, and not with super admin credential, use that one:

I'm in. As far I understand it works on desktop and issue is present only when using iPhone.
Then I assign appropriate staff to test this issue.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.

not only at mobile. at desktop I facing strange issue. your site ignoring all menu items with registered access level.
and I always got 503 server error message:



please turn off any cache at joomla and server side. since when this issue happening?

Hi,

I tried it at safari with iphone 6s. here the reuslt:
1. goto edit profile


2. open profile menu under edit profile page



3. and click other menu item



it works. seem I missing something. please elaborate more.

Hi Albertus,
Thanks for your effort, i tried to attach a video showing the problem but was not possible, i will try to do it later, as i mentioned before, if you open the site the first time, submenu don't work, but if you open other non jomsocial menu like blog, invite friend that is under jomsocial but is coming from other component, the menu work fine, but if you close the browser and open the page again, will not work, until you open other non jomsocial menu, is strange, but that's the problem.

I already installed the plugin, uninstalled and installed the las socialize template, even he las jomsocial version, what happen now is that the mainnav in no visible on mobile.

As i can see, is not solved yet, i think is worst, now sub menu are not visible, of course after you click any other non jomsocial everything work normal.

I reopen this, because the issue is back, maybe after last socialize or jomsocial update, but please check this screenshot, do not click on any non jomsocial item menu the first time, start session and then first of all click on any jomsocial item as in the screenshot, and you will see that not open any link the first time even on android, and if you click on other item that is non jomsocial then everything work good.

If this is solved
i'm thinking about to not use off canvas menu, but if i deactivate the offcanvas then original jomsocial menu for mobile will be show again, or i need to setup anything else?
