I have been meaning to let you guys know about a potential bug with JS component.

On main JS Newsfeed when user goes to make a new event in the same area as setting status the user can make event title no problem, but when user goes to enter event detail information if the event detail text is longer than one like or user wants to make a line break the text area does not grow and format properly.

Well formatting is okay, but the text box does not grow and overlap with icon to click to finish adding event details such as date and time location etc, but it is hard for user to write event description properly when the text box area does not give enough room and does not grow bigger as more text is added.

Just so you guys know this did NOT used to be a problem a few months ago, so something must have changed in code after new JS release.

That or maybe I just did not notice the problem right away, although I think I had some event details with multiple lines of text and did not experience this bug.

Is it just me or have other users reported the same bug?

Can I also use the same fix or would it not work for my site similar to a problem I had with login redirect using JS Hello Me module?

Hi,

please put this CSS at /templates/socialize/css/custom.css (create the file if not exist)

.joms-postbox-input .inputbox {
height: auto;
}

And it worked properly :)
