Because no mail can be sent to an administrator logins for JomSocial we must register via Joomla! run.

Is it possible to choose instead of the standard profile type a profile types created by our default?

please try to edit the database table structure for community_users table.
on that table, profile_id field having 0 as default value. changing it with the profile ID that you can find it at community_profiles table.
