ISSUE SUMMARY:

If a user is created, let us say, in the backend of Joomla by an administrator using com_user, or by a user on the front-end using com_user rather than Jomsocial registration, then the current behaviour of Jomsocial is to place the user into a "default" profile type.

Is it possible instead of a "default" profile type, to force a user created with com_user into a pre-determined jomsocial profile type X?

if this is not currently possible, what is the file i would need to edit to create this behaviour?

in other words, the behaviour would be:

if a profile type is not selected on registration

then

force user into Jomosical profile type X

I am sorry this is not possible, if you wanna use profile type selection you must use Jomsocial system.
