ISSUE SUMMARY:
All modal boxes show Undefined Error. This is currently happening in live site on previous version 3.1.2, and on test site with version 4.1.3. I am concerned about test site, it is more important that we complete upgrade.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:

1. Login > My Social
2. Amigas > Find Amigas > Search
3. Click "Add as Amiga"

1. Login > navigate to any user profile
2. Click "Send Message"
3. Click Share button
4. Click "Report" icon

this issue cuased by sh404SEF, I disabled that component and works fine now.

I was afraid of that being the cause; customer has a requirement for SEF URLs. Please can you advise an alternate solution?

Since from long time ago we always have some issue with SH404SEF, never ending issue on some cases :(

I suggest you use another SEF like ACESEF component.

Thank you, I was able to resolve with the below settings for sh404sef, if anyone else is still wanting to use this component. (AceSEF is more expensive for less functionality).

sh404sef configuration: General > By Component, choose drop downs for Community as follows (L>R):
Use Joomla router :: Use router.php, with menu item
