Avatar - Progress Bar moves but upload doesnt change

Hi,
When I try to change the avatar by selecting a file, click upload. The progress bar goes all the way to the 100%
And that is it, the avatar is never changed.

I saw here in the forum the suggestion of testing it with the joomla default "protostar" template and beez.
I tested with both and have the same issue.

Please advise.

Hi Sarah,

If this issue happened on registration proccess, please you set the photos menu as public instaed of members only.

I suggest you upload your jomsocial to the live server first, so I can debug it directly.

I don't have a menu called photos.

What is the other way to solve the issue?
