ISSUE SUMMARY:
Hi -- is there a way to control which activities appear on the main community wall. Specifically, I would need "Person A is friends with Person B" type of activities to not appear on the main wall as it adds little value and takes away from other more important messages. please let me know. thanks!

Yes, you can. You may disable user points rule which will disable also certain activity to show up on stream.
Just browse to Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> User Points.
Please, note that users will also stop receiving points for certain activity.
But that's the only way to disable them.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Not points related (we have points disabled) -- I don't want news activities of members becoming friends showing on the feed -- see attached. Thanks for your help.
