Thank you for finally adding the ability to set negative points for "undoing" activities that previously rewarded points. I don't know if I am missing it, or it was accidentally left out, but I can't find any "Remove Event" or "Delete Event" activity type that I can set an equal negative value for in the event that somebody figures out they can cheat the system by adding an event to earn a point then delete it, then add it again, etc...
If it was left out, where is the delete event function located so I can try to add that user action to the points table? Thanks,
We dont have this "delete event" rule for user points right now, but on your site I can see this rule from component JEvents, Go to Jomsocial backend->configuration->user points, search this rule "Delete an Event"
Thank you for your fast reply. I decided to use the jomsocial events section instead of jevents so any activity relating to jevents would not affect anything I am looking to do. I know an item like this will not be getting worked on anytime soon as it's such a minor issue compared to the other items I am sure are on your "to-do's" but it is important as community members will be able to trade their points in for tangible items and if I cannot ensure that the system doesn't get abused, then it will be abused. What file is the delete event function located on so I can add the activity like I would a 3rd party component?
this is really tricky, you need change the main code.. well, I will try to create this feature to our next release, I hope our Project Manager will accept it.
