Displaying Articles/Other Components within Jomsocial Layout

ISSUE SUMMARY: I am using HD Video Share and will have other articles that I would like to have displayed within the Jomsocial layout. Currently I found that I could add menu items for new pages to the Jomsocial toolbar via Joomla's menu manager. However when you click on the menu item (training, Live TV) it loads in the Joomla template. I would like to keep my users within the Jomsocial network no matter where they are in the site. Or at worst case, keep the Jomsocial toolbar displaying on pages that are outside of the Jomsocial template.

Thank you. Is there a way to have the first option I suggested? Such as having HD Video Share display or other articles display within the Jomsocial template?
