Our developers say they have seen a suspicious cronjob that may be the problem - that they have not created.

Have you made a cronjob ?

We need to know so we dont destroy eachothers jobs and make conflicts.

Also - the Maximum Days of Unarchived Activities are set back to 1 - we did not do this - did you ?

On our development site fazeday.com it is set to 1 and here we have no problems.

This is a very critical issue - please respond as soon as possible so we can isolate the problem.

I just commented the archived code, for make it safe.. on this file components/com_community/libraries/cron.php

No, I didnt change it back to 1.. also I didnt now run the cron job as well :)

As i wrote - on fazeday.com we have no problem - here the days of unarchived is set to 1 - and we dont think the problem is that.

fazeday.dk is a clone of .com - just with danish language- so we dont understand what the difference may be.

But bottom line - as you told me you fixed this - what did you fix and how did you do it ?

its becauase the .com doest run the cron jobs but the. but .dk does..

I modify this components/com_community/libraries/cron.php,and commented this code :

$this->_archiveActivities();

Today, the 13.10.2015 all our profile posts were deleted again.

Strangely it is only status updates that are deleted, not pictureposts this time.
Maybe your fix was just done for pictureposts and not status updates ?

The removal of the command you made is appearently not enough.

Can we turn of the automatic deletion of all posts and content entirely ?

Our site is live now and we cannot afford this error to happen again - please help asap - thank you.
