ISSUE SUMMARY:
When editing any cover photo (Profile, group, event etc etc) The process hangs after the upload portion (see image below)

I was thinking this might be due to some permission issues however it should be noted that upload an avatar works totally fine so I assume the permissions are correct.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. Click on Modify Cover
2 Upload a Photo
3 You will get stuck at this point

RESULT: Uploader Hangs
EXPECTED RESULT: Should move onto the next step
BROWSER All including mobile and tablet

I cant find htaccess file under /social/
could you please make sure that htaccess using joomla default?

if still happening, please try to re-install jomsocial. no need to uninstall anythings.

I have attached a copy of the htaccess. It was always located inside social so I'm not sure why you couldnt see it but it is there.

If I reinstall jomsocial won't I lose all my configurations groups etc etc? I've spent many hours working on this and can't start from scratch again.

Update: I have reinstalled jomsocial and the problem persists. What do we do next? This is so vital to the experience I really need it working. Thanks agian.

could you please asking your hosting support. seem your server preventing some joomla file functions to create new folder and file.
