JomSocial Expired

ISSUE SUMMARY:
I have created custom banner headers for all sections of the site, profile/groups/events etc.

The originals are in this folder:
/components/com_community/assets

For all other overrides I pace files in the html folder in template.
when I do this for these files it does not work.

/templates/socialize/html/com_community/assets

I have attached a screen grab of the files in the override folder.

Can you help me fix this as each time I update Jomsocial it overwrites the files.
Do I need to do this another way?

Thanks

Hi, Joel.

There is nothing to fix here. You simply can't create overrides for files in /components/com_community/assets
So any core hacks will be overwritten during update.

Please, read this - it explains what files may be overridden: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Customizing_Template

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
