many of my members have Irish names and subsequently have these as their email addresses. Basically an email contains ' so for example:

don.o'This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or ann.o'This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

When my users are registering with these email addresses it breaks the registration template and no account gets created.

How can I set it so my registration process accepts email addresses (and possibly usernames) with these characters? I can't ask all these members to change their email addresses, so I am hoping there is a workaround.

Hi Melani,

singe quote in the middle of email is not valid format, i am sure even gmail not accepted it, we are using validator standard for email verification, so please you ask to your client to change their emails.
