ISSUE SUMMARY:
I am unable to register new users after upgrading from 4.0.3 to 4.0.9.
After answering the gender/birthdate portion of my registration form, I get an Fatal error message:
Fatal error : Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/suiteeve/public_html/components/com_community/controllers/register.php on line 809
I have read other posts where this problem has come up but I haven't seen who to resolve it. Please help.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 go to www.suiteevents.com
2 register
3 get through the step and answer the gender and birthdate
4 click next
5
RESULT - the Fatal error screen shows
EXPECTED RESULT - user should be able to register
BROWSER - Chrome (others have tested as well)

that error from 3rd party plugin. do you remember what installed plugins that related with joomla users?
here the error:
Registration failed: User not Super Administrator

even by using joomla default registration page cannot. you can try this steps:
1. turn off System - Jomsocial Redirect plugin
2. access this URL: http://[site domain]/index.php?option=com_users&view=registration
3. try to sign up
4. after that you will got error message: Registration failed: User not Super Administrator

I am not sure which plugin is causing this to happen. We were able to register new users until I upgraded to 4.0.9.
I will ask my techs if they can understand what your instructions are for me to do.

I will get back to you if we can't solve this by following your suggestion.

I tried but this is not solving the issue. Can you please recheck and fix this ? I need this on very very very high priority.

I really expect this to be solved as fast as possible. This have stopped my registration on site and its live !
