JomSocial ToolBar

JomSocial Expired

Hi Guys,
One of the features I really like on Jomsocial was the ability to control what shows in the tool bar via Joomla menu. Really good.

I would like to display that tool bar in other pages, not only on Jomsocial.
By that I don't mean just the menu module. I also mean the notifications icon (with the notifications dropdown), the friends icon (with the friends dropdown) and the messages (with the messasges dropdown).

Is there a way to do that?

Thanks

Hi, Sarah.

JomSocial toolbar is integral part of JomSocial component and used for internal navigation. It's displayed in main component area. So you can't display it on other component pages. You would need to create a module to be able to display it on other pages.

I advise you to hire a developer so he/she could help you with that task.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
