Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
I was trying to figure out why the new images added by users weren't being uploaded to S3. When I checked the cron logs, I see they all have the same message:
Operation timed out after 600471 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received (28)
I tried running it manually through the browser bar and got the same (503) message. Don't know where to go from here as far as solutions go...
Thanks,
Adam
PS: I tried it on my test site and it does the same thing.

The server resources are exhausted because the cron job is timing out at over 60 secs. How can I find out what action is the cause of the holdup? It's not a server issue as I am having the same thing happening on my test site which is hosted on another server with the same identical issue.
My logs from yesterday show the cron task was still going after 6 minutes before it finally timed out... what could be some of the reasons it would do this? Too many messages built up? s3?
what is the php command line to call that page in Cpanel cron? Your instructions only showed how to call it via outside url but not as efficient as command line....
do you mean command line for php configuration?
that no need. you only need to asking your server support about how to increasing that php configuration.
