Unable to upload/ change avatar and profile cover in jomsocial 4.0.9

ISSUE SUMMARY:
I am not able to change my avatar as well as not able to change my profile cover, few weeks ago i face the same problem but that time after update to 4.0.9 from 4.0.8 my problem fixed automatically, but why this problem occurs again and again?

Please explain me why this problem is occur and what's the solution if this type of problem occurs again in future, so that i am able to fix this myself.

I visited your site and was able to replicate your issue:
- trying to change profile avatar, upload progress bar reaches end but image is not changed so in crop area is still default image. No errors in console.

I assign developer to this thread.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi,

the issue because there is no jomsocial "home" at main menu.

please read this:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Toolbar_Explained

and I saw double entry for profile:
home > profile
connect > community centre

I suggest you to delete all that jomsocial menu items, emptying it from trashed. and re-create again. but set jomsocial home as parent for all jomsocial menu items.

Now as you told i make 1 main menu item to jomsocial home page, its under connect >> community center and now no duplicate menu is there. but still not able to change cover and profile pic.

Hi,

please check it, the issue has been fixed. there an error under Learning Hub menu items. I just open and re-save it.
