Round avatars look good in Firefox (Mac), not in Safari

ISSUE SUMMARY:

With avatars set to 'round' sitewide, the results look as they should in Firefox on the Mac:



You can see that the image itself is round, inside the outer round white background.

Now look at it in Safari:



Anyone know a quick fix for this? It appears the same CSS is being called in both browsers.

I assign Mac user to this thread ;)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Thanks Michael, my Safari version is 5.1.10 on OS 10.6.8. Firefox is 40.0.

the issue only at hello me module?

please activate the user for jomsocial support. I cant login with it:

Sorry I had to unblock your user account, I try to only keep on Super User active for security reasons. The issue is everywhere on the site, not just Hello Me.

OK it's a newer version of Safari than I'm using, I'm still on OS 10.6! :-0

Can you send me an example of the CSS that is loading?

Hi Vince,

there is a no any CSS fix for that rounded avatar.
I tested your site at safari 8.0.7, no issue with rounded avatar.

I thinkg safari 8.0.7 support for OS 10.6 too. please make sure your safari version is uptodate

Safari 8.x doesn't work with 10.6 and I don't want to upgrade to a later memory hog OS full of useless "features"... lol

I guess I'll just live with the square pegs in round holes... ;-)
