Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
Repeating the install and Avatar upload during registration issues
I just tried to install Jomsocial using the Ijoomla installer. Once the install gets to the last page it starts over. It did it about 3 times, reinstalling itself. Not knowing that the upgrade was done. I had to change my url to get back to the normal admin screen.
I'm not sure if this will later cause issues, but I wanted to know what the issue is there.
Also during user registration, the screen that ask for an avatar allows me to choose the file. But when I go to upload, it just sits there. I have to choose to skip to continue the registration process.
Please, next time do not merge two different issues in one thread as it make harder to track issue reports.
So May I try to do upgrade on your supported domain?
As for avatar upload issue during registration - I was able to replicate that issue on your site. Please, open new thread and I'll assign developer to it.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
I upgraded JS on your site (applied override as it was already upgraded) without any issue:

I accessed JS dashboard and everything seems to look fine.
When next time you experience similar issue, try to clear Joomla cache, then browser cache and cookies.
