I created a couple of custom profiles and linked them to custom profile fields created for each custom profile. When I create a new user in Joomla it uses Jomsocial's default user profile but list all the custom profile fields.
Only when I manually add them to one of the custom profiles does it only shows the fields created for the particular custom profile only.

When a new user register or when we manually register a Joomla user and it uses the default Jomsocial profile it must not show the custom profile fields.

It's because using default Joomla! registration user jumps over any JomSocial registration field or profile. Thus user is assigned to "Default profile" that contains ALL JomSocial profile fields available.

If you want user to see or have only selected profile fields (attached to certain profile), user needs to register via JomSocial and not Joomla!.
